In the end of previous year the Estonian Association of Engineers held their annual meeting and chose the Engineer of the Year 2012 and the Engineering Student of the Year 2012. The latter of the two awards was received by the captain of FS Team Tallinn - Siim Nõmme. Gongratulations!

The competition in Siverstone can be considered a success despite the misunderstandings with the judges. Every competitor knew FS Team Tallinn and - as it was established later in edurance - for a very good reason. Our car was the fastest in Europe!
120 teams participated in the competition and our results are following:

The beginning of 2012 has brought us two new sponsors. One of them is Loctite (Henkel) and the other is Canon. Lots and lots of good stuff came from Loctite and Canon gave us a new camera to take top-notch pictures.

Hey everyone,
Today we spent the whole day at Rapla. Layed down the track for sprint, endurance and SuperSlalom. we also reheresed the work of flagsmen and referees. The sprint/endurance track is going to be really fast and thus spectacular to watch. All the slalom elements only consist 3 cones and there are only 5 of them. That means that there will be only 15 cones on the track - as promised, only pure racing.
SuperSlalom has variable pitch between the cones - therfore testing the abilities of the driver to the maximum. The track ends with a narrow 180 turn - fun to watch.
Everything looks good.
Oh and the Metropolia guys already arrived. They came straight from Hungary, a 24h drive. They overheated their engine in Hungary and feared the worst but discovered here that it was much better than they thought. So now they took their showers and headed off for a meal in downtown!
Good news nr2. the daninsh team Unicorn Racing Engineering is coming with 2 cars and the Metroppolia old team is also trying to bring their 05 car with them. Intereseting , interesting !

150 teams applied for 100 places on the starting grid.
The competition will be held from the 15th to 18th of July in Silvesrtone , UK.

We got it ! The new car, FEST09 came first overall, the old car FEST08 got the third place.
The new car also got the best times in SuperSlalom and Endurance.
