FS Team Tallinn was represented at the Hanover Fair

The joint Formula Student Team of Tallinn University of Applied Sciences (Tallinn College of Engineering) and Tallinn University of Technology was represented in the industrial fair in Hanover, Germany 20-24 april 2009.

 

Racecar FEST08 was part the Estonian national stand, set up by Enterprise Estonia and Federation of Estonian Engineering Industry to introduce Estonia in general and Estonian engineering companies. The purpose for the team’s participation was to promote Estonian engineering education and to introduce the skills of young engineers to the world. The event turned out to be succesful for the team, as the car attracted a great deal of attention and feedback from the visitors invariably positive.

The Hanover Fair, held since 1947, is the largest industrial fair in the world, where industrial company from Germany and all over the world display their products and services. All the most important fields of industrial production are covered at the fair; from materials and components to entire industrial solutions, finished products and innovative solutions. 6150 exponent from 61 countries were on display at the event which covered 224 800 m2 and hosted 210 000 visitors this year.
