Behind every season's car is a team of ~100 students from engineering, business, marketing and design.
Designs and manufactures the composite parts – monocoque, battery casing, firewall and aerodynamic structures – using FEM analysis and calculation tools.
Analyses and shapes how the car drives – concept development, lap time simulation, suspension kinematics, aerodynamics and motor control.
Turns the energy stored in the battery into motion – battery pack, in-house inverter, motors, dyno and cooling, with a focus on safety and reliability.
Designs and manufactures the mechanical assemblies – brakes, steering, transmission, suspension parts and everything that connects the car to the tarmac.
Responsible for the car's low-voltage system – designing and building the wiring and circuit boards, safety systems, power distribution and data acquisition.
Develops the software that lets the car drive itself – perception, localisation and mapping, and trajectory planning and control.
Presents the team's work in the media and on social media, finds sponsors, and manages the business plan and cost accounting.
